During Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences 2020, the artist will lead a final performance in collaboration with the Kingsmill walnut trees.
Join Johannes and other participants as we retrace the original, tree-line lane from Western Road to the Kingsmill homestead site. The surviving walnut trees, now over 160 years old, will be acknowledged. The location of those trees lost to time through development of campus during the 20th century will be rediscovered and marked along the way. This adventure through time and space (and even a few buildings) will end among the stand of black walnuts in front of Middlesex College where tea and walnut cake will be served on the lawn. Everyone is welcome!
