Western's 154-hectare park-like grounds feature outdoor sculptures from the McIntosh Collection by Canadian artists including Tom Benner, Doug Mitchell, Reinhard Reitzenstein, Miho Sawada, Bill Vazan and Ed Zelenak. ArtShare puts around 800 works of art from the McIntosh Gallery's collection into public areas and offices throughout Western's campus. Staff and faculty participate in choosing works of art and locations for their display. Participating departments, faculty and staff pay a small annual fee for each work installed through Artshare. New works are available throughout the year. If you are interested in Artshare, contact Brian Lambert, Collections Manager, at blamber3@uwo.ca Visual Arts graduate students curate exhibitions in public locations through the campus providing the Western community with insightful, thematic interpretation of the McIntosh collection.
